We have built a few bikes, just for ourselves, in order to prove what we are capable of doing. This should set your mind at ease once you lay out the deposit that we will deliver. It’s not a case of “We could” It’s “We do”.
This Bobber started life off as a Yamaha TR1 XV1000. These bikes are rare in South Africa since only the Virago was imported which has a twin shock and shaft drive. The TR1 has a mono shock which resembles a rigid classic Bobber style except that one has the comfort of a rear shock. This model is chain drive which just looks and acts like a bike with a personality.
Now this was our first bike and here we really showed ff. A once loved XT500 in a terrible state was transformed and modified beyond crazy. Upside forks and mono shock from a Honda CRF450, swing arm and wheels from a Suzuki RGV. Our standard Nut n Bolt rebuilt took place. Frame powder coated with a gentle glitter as was the engine. What you see here is all in-house hand polished aluminum, no chrome. GPS speedo LED lights. Converted to 12v.
A classic Café Racer but once again no cost spared. A nut n bolt build where absolutely all parts have been rebuilt, renewed or replaced to ensure e the bike runs for another 100 000k’s. Classic cany apple red with gloss black makes for a stunning bike which draws admirers wherever we show off with our bikes. Yep, this is a keeper as well. Out on the road its freedom with a permanent smile and thoughts of riding for ever.
Total rebuild, funky BMX type Urban Scrambler. Custom seat, many new parts. Bike is for showing off but we will sell.

Donor was a VFR 500, V4 engine, Kawasaki Z900 front end, TZR250 wheels and swing arm, bike will have hydraulic lift and lowering. Bike will remain a showpiece or may be for sale.
Basic XT600 donor, XT500 tank, 17” Excel rims, fat chunky Karoo 3 tyres front and rear, widened triple tees, custom seat GPS speedo, the rest is refurbished. Bike will be for sale once completed.
By far the most important choice you must make before having a custom built is the selection of a donor bike since this dictates the outcome.
Donor Bike, named that way since you basically need to donate a bike to the project. This donor (donated) bike is going to be changed radically to such an extent that the original may not even be recognized once the project has been completed.
You may have your own donor or buy one of ours. We have a variety of bikes which could be transformed into one of the many genres of custom motorcycle. Café Racer, Tracker, Bobber, Chopper, Scrambler, Rat, Street Fighter, Johnny Bravo (Our own Genre) etc.
In days gone by 2 or more bikes were butchered to create the best performing bike. Most donors nowadays are bikes built from late 60’s so technology had already progressed to such an extent that most bikes handled or looked okay so a single bike can be transformed to suit your dream.
Building a custom is also about removing all the unnecessary bits. This significantly reduces the weight thus already giving you better performance, handling and classic styling. It’s all about minimalistic. Only what you need for head turning looks, sound and that freedom out on the road cruising like you have the rest of your life to do just that.
